POSTAGE

 

Postage is calculated using the Australia Post Delivery Rate Calculator. Please note:

  • Delivery charges are estimates.
    The DRC’s rate estimates are based on information supplied by the Merchant, the Merchant’s customers and Australia Post’s current rates. Actual delivery charges are determined at the time of lodgement for delivery and depend on the weight and dimensions of the parcels to be shipped and the charges ruling at that time (Eg a rate increase may have occurred).
     
  • Actual delivery charges based on packed weight and dimensions.
    Postal charges are based on the weight and dimensions of the Parcel(s) when lodged for delivery. For an accurate rate estimate the information supplied to the DRC must include the weight of packing material and the packed dimensions of the items to be shipped.
  • Delivery times are in business days.
    The DRC’s time estimates ignore non-business days (Example: national and local public holidays; Saturday and Sunday). These must be added to the estimate returned by the DRC to calculate the actual elapsed delivery time. For example add 2 days to the estimated time for a delivery over a weekend.
  • Delivery times exclude Merchant’s order processing time.
    The DRC’s time estimates do not include Merchant handling time (Eg to authorise an order and process it through the warehouse). For example, if handling time is 2 days, delivery time estimated by the DRC is 3 days and delivery occurs over a weekend [see above], it will be 7 elapsed days (2+3+2 days) from the time an order is placed to delivery to the customer.
     

There is a fee of $1.50 for packaging costs and preparing your goods.

 

Items with NO STOCK are either new items being released or the items are out of stock at the warehouse in Australia.  These items will be sent out as soon as we recieve them. These items must be ordered separately to other items unless you want all the items sent at the same time when the new/out of stock item arrives in stock.

International Postage
Horse Mad Kids delivers Internationally.  This is automatically calculated at the checkout for you.  There are countries in which Australia post will not deliver to or countries which will not accept certain goods.  Depending upon the items value you may have to pay duty tax.  You will need to check this information out. 

INSURANCE

Australia Post - Registered

Registered Post is airmail and the method we recommend to ensure your goods arrive safely.  Registered Post costs $2.80 per article plus postage and provides you with the following offers:
- a unique identification number for each article
- proof of posting when lodged over a post office counter
- signature obtained on delivery
- automatic insurance cover if your goods are valued up to $100

For goods over $100 and up to $5000 you can purchase extra insurance cover for $1.30 per $100 worth of value.  If you wish to purchase this additional insurance indicate this when placing your order.

RETURNS

Refunds
If for any reason you are not satisfied with any purchases you make from this site simply return your purchase within 14 days for a full refund - no questions asked. Sorry we cannot refund freight charges on delivery and return of goods.

Upon recieving the item if you are not happy with the item please return it to us un-opened within 14 days.  A refund will be given as Store Credit which can be used any time in the future.  Sorry we cannot credit freight charges on delivery and return of goods. The item must be the same condition as it was sent.

If the item does not work correctly when you opened the box please contact us.  You will need to return the item to us.  We will replace the item for you as soon as possible and resend it to you again. It may take up to 4 weeks for you to get your replacement item if we do not have the item in stock.

No refunds will be given on puzzles or games which have been opened or the plastic removed.

Goods damaged in transit
If your purchase is damaged in transit we will send you a "no charge" replacement, freight free. You will need to return the damaged product (or fragments which demonstrate reasonable evidence of breakage in the case of international orders) to us for assessment.

Method of Refunds
Horse Mad Kids will refund to your credit card, or we can post a cheque or international money order.

How to make a Return
All we ask is that you print and fill in the Returns Form below, and return the product in its original condition with its packaging. We will also need a copy of your order confirmation record and goods receipt.

If we contact you in this way without obtaining your prior consent, we will provide you with the opportunity to decline any further marketing communications. If you at any time receive any communication from Horse Mad Kids which you would not like to receive, please contact us and we will remove your name from our mailing list.

In most cases, you can gain access to the personal information that Horse Mad Kids holds about you, subject to some exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to check or amend your contact details, please contact us. We will deal with all requests for access to personal information as quickly as possible.

Horse Mad Kids will take reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information which we hold and to keep this information accurate and up to date. Personal information is stored in a secure server or secure files.

The Internet is not always a secure method of transmitting information. Accordingly, Horse Mad Kids cannot accept responsibility for the security of information you send to, or receive from us over the Internet or for any unauthorized access or use of that information
